Competition in the
smoothie industry is very stiff with products such as booster Juice, Jamba
Juice and Jugo Juice competing for a market share. The companies that produce
these juices are trying to outdo each other in the competition war. With the
increasing awareness of healthy eating, healthy drinks are used as the major
point of focus in this competition. In the book, "Juice Boost! - Juices, Smoothies & Booster Recipes for Supercharged Health", it mentions that Booster Juice is arguably the most
popular among the consumers due to the inherent health benefits that are
associated with the juice. The wheat glass
shots are very popular with many consumers due to the many health benefits that
are associated to this drink. As discussed before, this particular type of drink is
believed to address more than 50 health issues which include purifying the
liver, neutralizing toxins, treating sugar disorders among many other benefits.
Jamba Juice is also a healthy drink, but it has been faulted for containing a
lot of sugars. Jugo Juice health drink has as received a fair share of
criticism with some people claiming it is not as smooth as compared to the
products manufactured by its competitors.
Everything there is to know and discover about Booster Juice as a company. A blend of business and a delicious take on the most popular smoothie chain in the world.

Smoothie Industry Competition: Jugo Juice, Jamba Juice or Booster Juice?
Corporate Social Responsibility for Booster Juice
Booster Juice has
partnered with a popular nutrition program known as Informed Dining. The major
responsibility of this group is to educate the consumers on how they can eat
healthy. As part of a company that offers food products, it is the
responsibility of the Booster Juice to ensure that its consumers do not consume
food products that can affect their health negatively. The Informed Dining Program is a voluntary for any person of company to take place in educating the
consumers on healthy eating habits. Some companies view
participating in corporate social responsibility program as a liability and a
waste of valuable resources. However, as for the Booster Juice Company, taking
part in this program is its way of giving back to the society by ensuring that
their customers are not harmed by the food that they eat. The program mostly
targets people who eat out because they are the ones who are at risk of eating
unhealthy food.
The program is expanding to new cities in Canada and will be in Ontario by the end of this year.

Franchising a Booster Juice
A Booster Juice franchise could be an extremely lucrative business to own. Although, you would have to have some business sense. The key to a successful business comes from thriving to increase sales and profit while maintaining a low cost of business (labour and material). With the right business savvy individual and a good store location, opening a Booster Juice wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.
There are many benefits of opening a Booster Juice, especially in comparison to competitive juice bars. Entrepreneur Magazine ranked Booster Juice number 2 in the juice bar category. It is an increasingly popular smoothie chain that is expanding globally from Canada to the U.S, and it is now in India and Mexico. The company's next move is to dominate the U.K. Booster Juice is a widely recognized juice bar brand, might as well invest in what people know and want when it comes to their smoothie needs. Another major benefit to opening a Booster Juice franchise, according to this Booster Juice Franchise Review, is that Booster Juice headquarters help Regional Directors produce franchise sales leads to help them meet their quotas. Which means you are not totally alone in acquiring sales within your business. Booster Juice also offers the turnkey approach, which means the store is ready to open as soon as you get the key, they provide everything you need to start. Which is awesome because it gives the new franchise owner a chance to hire employees and handle training.
The question now is, what exactly do you need to open a Booster juice. There's six major steps:

Healthy and Safety Violations at a Toronto Booster Juice Location
I hate to start this blog entry of my beloved Booster Juice on a such a negative note, but
some light needs to be shed on what is going on in regards to health and safety at a local Booster Juice in Toronto. The Toronto Star brought it to our attention that the Booster Juice in Yorkdale Shopping Center, was given a conditional pass from Toronto Public Health inspectors. Apparently, this particular Booster Juice establishment did not keep hazardous food below a set temperature limit, they failed to wash their equipment properly and could not manage to maintain the correct food safety procedures.
YUCK! As a semi-regular customer at this Booster Juice, I can not help but think of the potentially contaminated Tropical Tornado smoothie I may have consumed within the past couple of months. The hypochondriac in me wonders if that cold I had back in December was caused by unwashed blenders and warm frozen yogurt. The rational side of me wonders if an establishment like Booster Juice, whose entire menu consists of mostly frozen fruits, yogurt and milk can really become that hazardous. Unfortunately, the dairy products could be a big issue if they are not kept a the right temperature. Sorry, Booster Juice, I tried! The best thing to do is avoid this location for now, there is over 50 other locations in the Greater Toronto Area.
What do you think about this Booster Juice's health and safety violations? Would you still order from this location?
